Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Commerce/Accounting
- 4 years’ relevant experience including 2 years at Assistant Director level
- Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and related frameworks
Core Responsibilities
Policy & Framework Development
- Research and create financial governance policies aligned with international standards
- Develop implementation tools for GRAP standards
- Design government chart of accounts and internal audit templates
- Update risk management guidelines and financial reporting specimens
Implementation & Support
- Provide technical guidance on audit controls and risk management
- Collaborate with SAICA and IIA professional bodies
- Conduct training on new policies and frameworks
- Advise stakeholders on financial management best practices
