Position Overview
- Position: Assistant Store Manager
- Location: Soshanguve, Pretoria
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Minimum Education: Matric/Grade 12 (Mathematics preferred) or NQF Level 4
- Department: Retail Operations
Core Responsibilities
- Manage daily banking procedures and ensure accurate cash handling
- Act as Store Manager in their absence, overseeing all store operations
- Implement loss prevention strategies and maintain stock control
- Drive sales initiatives to achieve store targets
- Supervise staff scheduling and performance management
- Ensure visual merchandising standards and store presentation
- Oversee cash office operations and front-end controls
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in retail leadership roles
- 2+ years clothing retail experience (preferred)
- Strong administrative and organizational capabilities
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and team leadership abilities
