Position Overview

Job Type: Full Time
Experience: 3+ years (preferred)
Location: KwaZulu-Natal

Core Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery including graders, rollers, pavers, and milling equipment
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of plant equipment and vehicles
• Transport personnel, materials, and machinery to worksites
• Manage material utilization for construction/repair projects
• Maintain accurate operational records and reports
• Ensure safe handling of asphalt plant operations

Required Qualifications

• Matric certificate (NQF Level 4 equivalent)
• Valid EC driver’s license + Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
• Certification in heavy plant operation
• 2+ years’ experience in road construction operations

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in municipal infrastructure maintenance
