Position: Assistant Director: Tourism Destination Development & Transformation
Location: Vhembe District, Thohoyandou, Limpopo
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Performance Areas
- Develop and coordinate implementation of destination development strategies
- Manage provincial tourism spatial planning and infrastructure development
- Support community-based tourism projects and route/icon development
- Implement rural tourism and cultural heritage programs
- Facilitate tourism transformation initiatives and stakeholder coordination
- Identify business opportunities for MSMEs in tourism
Requirements
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Tourism Management/Development Studies or related field
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience in tourism sector
- Valid driver’s license (exemptions for persons with disabilities)
- Proven experience in project coordination and stakeholder management
