Job Title: Health Clinic Manager

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Job Type: Full Time

Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or National Certificate in relevant fields.

Experience: 7 to 10 years in a nursing management position, preferably in community health.

Position Overview

The Health Clinic Manager will oversee the delivery of primary health care services, manage clinic operations, and ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise clinic staff to meet strategic goals and objectives.
• Coordinate clinical services, education, and research to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Manage human and material resources effectively.
• Plan and monitor budget utilization.
• Supervise nurses and support staff.
• Analyze health data and program indicators.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
• Write monthly reports on clinic activities and challenges.
• Participate in policy development and implementation.
• Ensure Ethical nursing practices and patient rights.
• Maintain current SANC registration for all nurses.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in General Nursing with Community Health, Psychiatry, and Midwifery.
• Advanced qualifications in Nursing Administration, Management, or Education.
• Primary Health Care Nursing diploma is mandatory.
• Current SANC registration as a General Nurse, Nurse Educator, or similar roles.
• Dispensing Licence required.
• Master’s in Public Health is advantageous.
• Knowledge of PHC policies and legislation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and valid driver’s licence.
