Job Description

We are seeking a reliable DC Driver (Code 10) to join our KZN Distribution Centre team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and maintaining Dis-Chem’s quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 – Matric or Senior Certificate
  • Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with PDP
  • 2 – 5 years of driving experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver goods to customers on time and in good condition
  • Plan and use the most efficient routes
  • Verify and ensure accurate delivery of shipments
  • Handle collections and returns correctly
  • Load and offload goods at the warehouse and delivery sites
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
  • Monitor vehicle condition and report any issues
  • Use the fuel card responsibly

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of road rules and regulations
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication
  • Attention to detail and accountability
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Special Conditions

  • Valid work permit for non-South Africans
