Essential Requirements
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Tax, Law, or Accounting
- Proven leadership experience in tax administration
- Expertise in personal income tax structures and retirement systems
- Mandatory completion of Nyukela SMS Leadership Programme
Core Responsibilities
Tax Policy Development:
– Design individual tax frameworks for annual budget
– Draft legislative proposals and technical documents
Retirement & Savings Systems:
– Coordinate tax policies for retirement products
– Align tax legislation with financial regulations
Employment Tax Management:
– Develop compensation taxation guidelines
– Address special employment tax scenarios
Public Engagement:
– Respond to parliamentary and public inquiries
– Present policy initiatives to stakeholders
