Position Details

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
  • Experience: 1+ year in EMS (ILS experience preferred)
  • Qualification: Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate/Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls
  • Provide intermediate-level medical care within approved guidelines
  • Maintain emergency response readiness at all times
  • Complete accurate patient documentation
  • Promote positive public relations for ER24

Requirements

  • Valid HPCSA registration
  • Knowledge of emergency medical protocols and best practices
  • Proficiency in English (verbal/written)
  • Geographical knowledge of service areas
  • Basic computer skills

Training Requirements

Candidates must complete HPCSA Clinical Practice Guidelines training during probation if not currently certified.
