Position Purpose

Transnet Corporate Centre and Academy seeks dynamic and recently qualified graduates for a two-year Young Professional-in-Training programme. This structured learning programme offers workplace experience, organizational support, and skill development.

Key Responsibilities

• Shadow staff members and participate in learning experiences, meetings, and workshops to gain practical experience.
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and keep them updated on progress.
• Act as a central contact point for suppliers and end-user queries, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide administrative, research, and general assistance.
• Execute project tasks effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Prepare clear and logical reports using MS Office tools (Word and PowerPoint).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management, or Marketing.
• 0–1 year of work experience.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Age between 18 and 35 years.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work well in a team, solve problems, and pay attention to detail.
