Position: Assistant Director: Asset Management
Role Summary
Lead our asset management operations to support efficient government service delivery. This supervisory role requires strong organizational skills and financial acumen to maintain national asset registers and compliance.
Key Requirements
- NQF Level 6 qualification in:
– Asset/Supply Chain Management
– Public Administration
– Financial Accounting (BCom equivalent preferred) - Proven leadership experience (2+ years team supervision)
- Hands-on asset management experience (2+ years)
Core Responsibilities
- Manage national asset register maintenance
- Oversee stores inventory and distribution systems
- Coordinate asset disposal/donation processes
- Develop technical guidelines for asset utilization
- Supervise asset management team members
