Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced technology leader to spearhead risk management solutions using cutting-edge tools and AI integration. This strategic role requires expertise in leading development teams while managing complex data systems for tax administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development teams using C#, MVC, SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS
  • Design system integrations for enhanced risk identification and operational efficiency
  • Manage large-scale datasets across multiple tax domains
  • Implement automation solutions for operational optimization
  • Develop AI-powered tools to improve risk assessment capabilities
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive taxpayer information

Requirements:

Education:

  • Honours Degree/Postgrad Diploma (NQF 8) in IT, Computer Science, or related field + 10-12 years’ experience
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) + 12-15 years’ experience

Essential Skills:

  • Proven leadership in risk technology environments
  • Expertise in enterprise system integration
  • Advanced data management capabilities
  • Government security clearance (GOC Secret)
  • 3-4 years management experience
