Position Overview:

We seek a qualified operator to maintain public spaces through safe pest/weed control operations and equipment maintenance.

Key Details:

• Position Type: Full-time
• Education: Grade 10 (Grade 12 preferred)
• Experience: 1+ years in municipal pest control
• Location: Gauteng Province
• Field: Agricultural Operations

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (PrDP advantageous)
• Pest control certification preferred
• Ability to interpret safety data sheets
• Physical fitness for manual labor
• Strong communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Apply pesticides/herbicides using knapsack sprayers
• Maintain treatment equipment and machinery
• Follow environmental safety protocols
• Conduct regular equipment inspections
• Complete routine landscape maintenance tasks
