Experience Needed: 10 years legal experience (5 years senior management)

• Legal qualification (NQF 7+) with local government knowledge
• Proven leadership in complex organizational environments
• Expertise in mediation, dispute resolution, and policy development
• Strong understanding of municipal bylaws and human rights frameworks
• Track record of improving administrative processes

Core Responsibilities

• Lead complaint resolution through mediation and investigation
• Analyze systemic service delivery challenges and propose solutions
• Monitor compliance with constitutional obligations and human rights
• Advise Council on policy improvements and risk mitigation
• Promote ethical governance standards across municipal operations
