Position Summary

Senior executive role overseeing urban mobility operations and service delivery for a metropolitan population of 4+ million residents. Full-time position requiring strategic leadership in transportation management.

Key Requirements

• ✦ Bachelor’s degree in Transport Planning, Economics, Urban Development or related field
• ✦ Master’s degree preferred (Transport Economics/Urban Planning)
• ✦ 8+ years progressive leadership experience in large-scale transport operations
• ✦ Valid South African driver’s license (Code B)
• ✦ Proven success in budget management (+R500 million)

Core Responsibilities

• ● Lead strategic planning for integrated public transport network
• ● Optimize fleet operations and service delivery models
• ● Implement smart mobility solutions and operational technologies
• ● Manage partnerships with transport operators and stakeholders
• ● Oversee R2.1+ billion annual operating budget
• ● Drive service quality improvements and passenger satisfaction
