Requirements

  • National Diploma/Technical qualification in Engineering
  • Verification Officer Certification (NRCS Legal Metrology Act 2014)
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in water meter testing environment
  • Proficiency in water service operations and metering processes
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP systems
  • Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute water meter verification per Legal Metrology standards
  • Supervise testing processes to ensure meter accuracy
  • Make procedural decisions on meter certification/rejection
  • Coordinate verification data and consumer communications
  • Support team performance management
  • Resolve consumer inquiries regarding meter test results
