Position Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Grade 10 certificate plus 6 months’ Surf Lifesaving Club voluntary service OR
- Equivalent qualification with 6 months’ voluntary service OR
- 5 years lifesaving experience with valid Lifeguard Award
- Current Surf Lifeguard/Rescue Swimmer Award certification
- Valid Level 2 First Aid certificate
- Clean criminal record
- Drug-free status (mandatory testing for shortlisted candidates)
- Code A motorcycle or EB driver’s license (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Objective:
Ensure beach safety through team-based lifeguard operations at designated coastal areas.
- Perform water rescues and emergency response
- Provide first aid treatment
- Maintain safety protocols for tower/radio operations and patrols
- Complete incident documentation and administrative tasks
Important Notes:
- All shortlisted candidates must complete competency assessments
- Successful applicants will undergo mandatory drug screening
