Position Type

Full Time | Eastern Cape, East London | 4 years experience required

Core Responsibilities

Patient Care Management

• Conduct daily patient assessments and injury evaluations
• Monitor treatment quality and clinical pathways
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary care and hospital transfers
• Develop discharge plans and post-care rehabilitation strategies

Medical Advocacy & Cost Management

• Analyze treatment cost-effectiveness
• Verify service provider invoices against RAF guidelines
• Prevent fraudulent claims through rigorous account monitoring
• Negotiate medical resource allocations

Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain accurate case management records
• Prepare rehabilitation recommendation reports
• Oversee Undertaking Certificate issuance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Nursing or Allied Health
• Valid registration with Health Professional Council
• 4+ years medical environment experience
• Managed healthcare experience preferred
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license
