Unit Manager: Committee Support Opportunity

The Parliament of the Republic of South Africa

Position Overview:

We invite applications for a strategic leadership role supporting parliamentary committees in Gauteng. This full-time position requires expertise in legislative processes and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide procedural guidance and secretariat support to parliamentary committees
  • Oversee drafting, production, and quality control of legislation and amendments
  • Manage committee programming and strategic planning processes
  • Lead operational planning and reporting for assigned cluster
  • Supervise human resources and financial operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Honours Degree (NQF 8) or equivalent in Law/Public Administration
  • 5+ years’ legislative experience (3 years at management level)
  • Master’s Degree (NQF 9) preferred
