About Us:
As the legislative authority of South Africa, Parliament comprises the National Assembly and National Council of Provinces. We are currently seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our catering team.
Position Details:
Job Title: Head Chef (IRC7623)
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Gauteng
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Design menus and calculate food costs
- Manage inventory and ingredient orders
- Enforce food safety standards and regulations
- Maintain kitchen equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate or NQF Level 4 equivalent
- National Diploma in Professional Cookery (NQF Level 6)
- 3+ years experience in head chef/senior kitchen role
