Position Requirements:

  • Education: Matric + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Business Administration (NQF 7)
  • Advanced Qualifications: Postgraduate in Project Management (NQF 8) + PMP/PRINCE2 Certification
  • Experience: 10-15 years in IT/business leadership (minimum 8 years managing large cross-functional teams)
  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Develop and manage enterprise-wide project management frameworks
  • Oversee IT project portfolios ensuring on-time, budget-compliant delivery
  • Align technology strategies with municipal objectives using agile methodologies
  • Lead risk management and change control processes
  • Manage financial forecasting and performance tracking
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching and mentorship
