Senior Fleet Tender Officer

Job Type: Full Time
Department: Logistics & Procurement
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-year bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years’ experience in technical specification development and tender administration
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proven understanding of municipal tender processes (MFMA/SCMA)
  • Advanced knowledge of fleet management principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial management systems

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead tender lifecycle management from planning to adjudication
  • Chair bid specification and evaluation committees
  • Prepare and present detailed tender reports for approval
  • Coordinate contract finalization with service providers
  • Manage stakeholder consultations across departments
  • Oversee tender budget compliance and timelines
  • Supervise administrative support staff
