Position: Deputy Director – Demand and Acquisition Management

Required Education: Matric + Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management

Experience Required: 3-5 years at Assistant Director level in SCM

Location: Gauteng

Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Management

Key Requirements

  • Expertise in Public Service regulations and performance frameworks
  • Proven track record in government procurement systems
  • Strong knowledge of bid management processes
  • Experience in strategic supply chain planning

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead demand planning and acquisition strategy development
  • Oversee tender processes from specification to adjudication
  • Manage bid committees and supplier databases
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements
  • Prepare procurement reports and performance analyses
  • Supervise team operations and workflow management
