The Gauteng Office of the Premier serves as a strategic leadership hub to ensure effective governance and service delivery across provincial departments.
Requirements
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related field
- Nyukela Certificate for Senior Management Service (SMS) accreditation
- 5+ years middle/senior management experience in HR
- NQF Level 8 qualification preferred
Core Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop workforce plans aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee recruitment processes and talent retention strategies
- Design employee development programs and succession plans
Operations Management:
- Administer performance management systems
- Manage employee relations and labor compliance
- Coordinate organizational design initiatives
Workplace Optimization:
- Develop HR policies compliant with legislation
- Oversee health/wellness programs
- Drive workplace transformation and diversity initiatives
