Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Ultra-Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver to join our team at Unitrans. The ideal candidate will work on our AEL Contract and must meet the following requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Ultra-Heavy Vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load, transport, and offload goods
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform related duties
- Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle, uniform, and PPE
Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- Code EC driver’s license with valid PrDP (DGP)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving Ultra-Heavy Vehicles
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Verbal and numerical literacy
- Knowledge of vehicle components and defensive driving techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and efficiency
