Position Summary:
We’re seeking a dedicated Artisan Assistant for temporary assignment at our mining depot. This role supports maintenance operations and requires flexibility across work schedules.
Core Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Availability for shifts, weekends, night work, and public holidays
- Commitment to workplace safety standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Support equipment repairs and maintenance activities
- Perform component and machinery cleaning
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and organization
- Assist qualified artisans with technical tasks
- Operate high-pressure cleaning equipment safely
- Manage tool inventory and storage post-shift
- Collaborate effectively in team environments
Work Conditions:
- Exposure to heavy machinery operations
- Overtime and standby requirements
