Position Requirements

  • National Diploma/BCom in Financial Accounting (Major)
  • 0-2 years’ experience (Entry-level position)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Understanding of Municipal Finance Systems

Essential Competencies

  • Knowledge of Local Government Accounting Standards
  • Understanding of PFMA, GRAP, and Treasury Regulations
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify supplier invoices/payments
  • Maintain accurate creditors’ reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with payment authorization protocols
  • Manage financial documentation and filing systems
