Minimum Requirements

  • 3-year bachelor’s degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Essential Skills & Knowledge

  • Understanding of Local Government financial systems and standards
  • Working knowledge of PFMA, GRAP, and Treasury Regulations
  • Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement processes including goods receipt/dispatch
  • Monitor supplier deliveries to ensure timeline compliance
  • Support tender administration and bidding procedures
  • Coordinate advertising of procurement opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of requisitions and purchase orders
  • Assist with asset delivery monitoring and reconciliation
