Qualifications Required

• Grade 12 Certificate
• B.Com Degree (NQF 7) in Accounting, Economics, Logistics or Purchasing
• Mandatory MFMP/CPDM Certification or Municipal Finance Certificate

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle procurement operations and strategic supply chain management
• Ensure compliance with MFMA, PPPFA, and municipal regulations
• Manage bid committee processes and vendor relationships
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and internal control systems
• Oversaw annual procurement planning and budget alignment
• Prepare statutory reports for treasury and oversight bodies
• Lead team of 10+ SCM professionals

Preferred Competencies

• Advanced knowledge of municipal financial systems
• Proven track record in public sector procurement
• Strong analytical and contract management skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities
