Position Overview

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Education: Matric + National Diploma in Science/Engineering (or related field)
  • Experience: 3+ years (ISO 17021/17065 knowledge required)
  • Preferred: SANAS/SAATCA registration, auditing experience

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Develop accreditation operational plans aligned with organizational strategy
  • Manage certification approval processes and document control systems
  • Oversee production of compliant certificates and permits
  • Coordinate accreditation body assessments

Compliance Management

  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and quality controls
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance
  • Maintain accreditation databases and statutory licenses

Team Leadership

  • Supervise staff performance and development
  • Promote ethical standards and learning culture
  • Support recruitment and retention initiatives

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • National Diploma in relevant technical field

Preferred Experience:

  • Systems/Product Certification environment exposure
  • Audit process implementation experience
