Key Responsibilities
- Claims Valuation: Develop actuarial models for reserve calculations, conduct sensitivity analyses, and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Funding Strategy: Create projection models for solvency analysis and Treasury funding requirements
- Benefit Calculations: Design systems for loss of earnings/support benefit quantification
- Regulatory Compliance: Prepare solvency capital reports for statutory requirements
- Strategic Planning: Provide financial projections for organizational strategy
- Data Analysis: Generate monthly claims statistics and management reports
- Risk Management: Conduct mortality/morbidity studies and expense analyses
- Team Leadership: Manage department operations and personnel development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science/Mathematics (Postgraduate preferred)
- 8+ professional actuarial exam passes (advantageous)
- 6-8 years’ actuarial experience including 2 years supervisory/management experience
- Advanced data modeling and statistical analysis skills
- Proven success in financial projections and risk assessments
